Directions
Place the Lentils in a small pot and add water to cover.
Bring to a slow boil.
Lentil beans do not need to be soaked before hand and the cooking time varies depending on the firmness of the lentil bean.
Cooking time can range between 10 minutes and 1 hour, depending on firmness.
So, begin by cooking 3 minutes at a boil and reduce flame to a simmer.
