Date and Ginger Glazed Salmon

 4 Salmon fillets4-6 ounces each
 Salt and pepperTo taste
 2 Garlic clovesFinely minced
 1 tsp Freshly grated ginger Or 1/2 tsp Ziyad Brand ground ginger
 ¼ cup Low sodium soy sauce

Preheat the oven to 425°F: with a rack placed in the middle. Line a roasting pan or baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix all the ingredients together until you get a nice thick glaze.

Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel. Rub the salmon with the Date syrup glaze.

Place the salmon in the baking sheet, skin-side down.

Roasting time depends on the thickness of your salmon. For every half-inch of salmon, roast 4 to 6 minutes. So for an inch thick salmon you are looking at 12-15 min.
Serve with rice, sesame noodles, roasted veggies or whatever you like.
