 1 cup Ziyad Brand Cracked Freekeh
 2 ¼ cups Milk of your choice
 1 tbsp Honey Or any sweetener of your choice
 1 tsp Ziyad Brand Cinnamon
 A pinky of salt
Toppings
 Fresh fruits
 Ziyad Brand assorted dry fruitsFigs, dates, apricots or raisins
 Ziyad Brand assorted nutsAlmonds, walnuts or pistachios

Rinse your freekeh well and pick any impurities. Soak your freekeh for 15-30 minutes to soften.

In a medium pot, add freekeh, milk, honey, cinnamon and salt. Stir and bring to a gentle boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 30-35 minutes, stirring often until freekeh is cooked and tender.

Tip: If freekeh isn’t cooked through and milk evaporated, add more milk and cook a little longer. Serve in individual bowls. Top with your choice of chopped fruits and nuts.
