Freekeh Meatballs

 1 OnionGrated
 2 Garlic cloves Minced
 1 lb Lean ground beefOr turkey
  cup ParsleyFinely chopped
 ¼ cup Parmesan cheeseGrated
 1 tsp Ziyad Brand Seven Spice
 2 tbsp Sultan Olive Oil
 Salt and freshly ground pepperTo taste
 1 24 oz jar of marinara or tomato sauce

Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, mix all meatball ingredients together using your hands.

Using an ice cream scooper, portion out the meat mixture and gently roll between your hands to form a ball. Assemble the meatballs on a baking sheet.

Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil. Bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes unntil they are browned a bit.

Add your marinara sauce to a pan and heat through for 5 minutes. Add The meatballs and cook for a few more minutes together. The meatballs are done when they reach 165°F in the center on an instant read thermometer. Serve with Ziyad Brand pasta, rice or a salad.
