Date Golden Milk and Ghee

Yields1 Serving

 2 cups Milk or almond, oat, coconut milk, etc.
 ½ tsp Ziyad Brand Ground Cinnamon
 ½ tsp Ziyad Brand Ground Turmeric
 3 Ziyad Brand Cardamom Pods, cracked, or 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
 1 tsp Grated fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp Ziyad Brand Ground Ginger
 Pinch of Ziyad Brand Ground Nutmeg
 A fresh grind of black pepper
 1 tsp Ziyad Brand Ghee
 2 tsp Ziyad Brand Date Syrupadjust to taste

Add the milk, spices, and date syrup to a pan and whisk well to combine.


Bring the mixture to boil and then reduce to a simmer for 5-10 minutes, whisking often so it doesn’t burn.


Add ghee.


Allow the golden milk to cool a little, strain and serve.
