Knafeh Bites

Yields1 Serving
 1 Pack of Ziyad Brand Kataifi Dough
 2 cups Milk
 2 tbsp Cornstarch
 1 ½ tbsp Ziyad Brand Semolina Fine Semolina
 1 tsp Ziyad Brand Rose Water
 1 tsp Ziyad Brand Orange Blossom Water
Granishes
 1 tbsp Ziyad Brand Pistachios Finely Chopped
Edible glue
 2 tbsp Flour
 3 tbsp Water Mix together good until they are a glue-like consistency.

Mix the milk cornstarch and semolina and bring to a boil (or until it thickens) then take it off the heat and add the orange blossom and rose water whisk and place on a plate and let it cool (you can also freeze it for 5-10 mins).

Let the dough thaw then open it up gently then cover it with a damp towel. Collect a group of strands (not to thick or the bite will be too big) and get a smaller strand to put on the bottom part (basically you make an L shape)

Scoop some of the filling and put it on the bottom of the "L" then fold the shorter side of the dough around the filling then use some of the glue to stick the dough.

Start rolling the little ball you have until you reach the end, use some glue on the inside to stick it.

Put the Knafe bites on a plate and freeze them until they hold shape.

Fry the bites after taking out of the freezer in deep preheated hot oil. Flip around until they get color from all sides.

Drizzle with Simple syrup, I used the Ziyad Sugar Free Syrup. Enjoy.
