Mixed Greens Salad with Chopped Dates in a Date Syrup Dressing

For the Dressing

¼ cup Sultan Brand Olive Oil

Juice of one lemon

2 tbsp Ziyad Brand Iraqi Style Date Syrup

2 Drops of Ziyad Brand Orange Blossom WaterUse the bottle cap to measure (a little goes a long way)

Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

Salad

6 cups Mixed leafy salad greens Or romaine, spinach etc

¼ cup Crumbled Ziyad Brand Syrian Cheese

1 Small red onion cut into half moons

¼ cup Ziyad Brand Medjool Dates Pitted and chopped

¼ cup Toasted Ziyad Brand Almonds

½ A cup of Ziyad Brand Hummus Beans

Mix all dressing ingredients in a glass jar until it’s fully combined.

In a big salad bowl toss the salad ingredients with the dressing.

Tip: dress your salad before serving so it doesn’t wilt.
