Spiced Rice with Liyye

  cup Sultan Olive Oil
 7 oz Minced beef or lamb
 Pinch of Ziyad Brand Liyye Seasoning
 Pinch of Ziyad Brand Allspice
 Pinch of Ziyad Brand Nutmeg powder
 Pinch of Ziyad Brand Seven Spices
 Pinch of Ziyad Brand Cinnamon
 Salt
 2 cups Long grain riceSoaked for 15 minutes and drained
 2 Pieces of bay leaves
 4 cups Beef Broth
 0.70 oz Raisins
 0.35 oz Mixed nuts

Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the meat.

Season with Liyye Seasoning, salt and all the spices. Cook and stir continuously until the meat is cooked over high heat.

Add the soaked rice over the meat. Add the bay leaves.

Pour the beef broth over the rice. Add the raisins.

Let it boil then lower the heat, cover and cook for 20 minutes. Take off the heat.

Serve the rice in a plate. Garnish with raisins and mixed nuts.
