Directions
Step 1: Prepare the Za’atar Leaves
Pick through the dried za’atar to remove any large stems.
Step 2: Grind the Za’atar
Using a spice grinder or blender, blend the za’atar leaves to a coarse powder.
Step 3: Combine Ingredients
In a bowl, add the ground za’atar and olive oil. Rub the mixture between your fingers to fully incorporate the oil.
Step 4: Add Final Ingredients
Stir in the sumac, salt, and toasted sesame seeds. Mix everything well until evenly combined.
