A delicious, savory grilled pita stuffed with seasoned kefta. Crispy on the outside and juicy inside, it’s perfect as a main dish, shared plate, or alongside fresh salads.
Directions
Step 1: Make the meat mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground meat, chopped onion, parsley, Ziyad Kefta Spice Blend, salt, and pepper. Mix well by hand until fully combined.
Step 2: Stuff the pitas
Cut pita breads into halves or quarters. Gently open each piece and stuff with 2–3 tablespoons of the meat mixture. Press down to flatten slightly, ensuring the meat is evenly distributed.
Step 3: Brush and grill
Tip: You can also cook these on a skillet or panini press.
Step 4: Serve it up!
Serve warm with a side of grilled vegetables, Ziyad Shattah, and pickles. A cold glass of Ayran or a scoop of fresh yogurt makes the perfect complement.
