INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Ziyad Brand Tea Biscuits (approx. 300 g)

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 397 g)

  • 7 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp Ziyad Brand Vanilla Powder (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)

  • A pinch of salt

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup Ziyad Brand Unsweetened Coconut

A rich, no-bake chocolate cake made with cocoa powder for a deep, indulgent flavor. Easy, nostalgic, and perfect for slicing and sharing.

Directions

Step 1: Crush the biscuits

Break the Ziyad tea biscuits into chunks by hand. Don’t over-crush—you want a mix of textures for the classic Lazy Cake feel.

Step 2: Make the cocoa mixture

In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, butter, cocoa powder, vanilla powder, and salt until smooth.

Step 3: Combine with biscuits

Fold the crushed biscuits into the cocoa mixture using a spatula. Mix well until all pieces are evenly coated.

Step 4: Shape and chill

Transfer the mixture onto a piece of wax paper or plastic wrap. Shape into a log, roll tightly, and twist the ends. Freeze for at least 2 hours until firm.

How to serve:

Roll in shredded coconut or dust with powdered sugar before serving for a festive finish. Slice into rounds and enjoy. Store in the fridge for up to a week in an airtight container.
