Green Za’atar
Traditionally za’atar is eaten for breakfast, with bread first dipped in olive oil and then in za’atar. It can also be swirled into olive oil to create a paste, and spread on top of manakeesh, a traditional Middle Eastern flatbread. It can also be enjoyed sprinkled on salads, vegetables and eggs, used in savory pastries, or as a spice rub.
